Proud Papua New Guinean
I grew up in Port Moresby
amongst Highlanders, Momase, Southern and NGI people who are friends and family
to me. Enjoyed food delicacies from all over (name one you think I haven't
tried and I will). I would have not come this far without other Papua New Guineans
raising and supporting me along the way and for that I feel most privileged and
grateful to be part of this family nation.
I acknowledge our forefathers
who worked together to obtain independence giving us the privilege to belong to
a Country and not a Colony. To fly a flag that significantly means something to
us in culture and identity. To be born free of oppression and open to all
opportunities of profession.
PNG now middle aged as you
are, it's ok to go through political and economical issues as we could relate
that to mid life crisis in humans 😊 But as the saying goes.. "the older you get the
wiser you become.." I believe PNG will learn from its' mistakes overtime
and achieve its dreams and visions.
Happy 46th Independence
celebrations and God bless Papua New Guinea!
